In an attempt to further bridge the Madden series to what you see in the NFL on Sundays, EA released information regarding new lighting patterns. Admitting that their previous approach to lighting was flawed, the game now takes focus on real-time lighting effects. In total, the latest blog post reveals information about lens flares, jumbotrons, self shadows, and daytime lighting.
ESPN.com has released player ratings for the Jets and Dolphins today. They’re going to be releasing two teams a day, Monday through Thursday beginning with the AFC East and ending with the NFC South.

Wake up, Madden fans! Recently we’ve been in the off-season for Madden as it’s June. That’s the bad news. The good news? August is right around the corner now, and more and more Madden 11 information is being dropped. Enjoy this latest trailer that has made it’s way into the masses after the big opening of E3 out in California!

Playersbowl has come to a close early Sunday morning, where only a few contenders were left standing. At the conclusion, we have ushered in some new faces while seeing many of the veterans stand tall against father time. Of those new faces we see a man simply called Manny take down two of the three tournaments over the weekend.
Friday night in Philadelphia hosted the Crew vs Crew championships. With the money and respect on the line, the crew “Momma’s Boys” took down the event, which is considered the toughest field for a Madden team event ever created.
