ZERO TOLERANCE

The LEX will follow a Zero Tolerance Policy for the coming year. This is
a professional league. It’s also a FREE money league so please act accordingly and
value your spot by following the leagues rules and playing your games as scheduled.

(TUESDAY – THURSDAY and SATURDAY thru MONDAY)

RULES OF OWNERSHIP

We're all adults, well most of us are adults. I shouldn't have to police your every move. Unlike in seasons past, mischievous actions will result in your losing your LEX franchise.

1. PROVIDE HIGHLIGHTS. Every team owner should save one key highlight after the game. Exit the game and then upload it to your EA Sports World account. Failure to do so will get you FINED at the end of the season. Providing highlights of FG's and other BS will get you FINED. Don't waste my time posting highlights of insignificant plays.

2. TRASH TALKING before and after the game is allowed. During the game it is prohibited. Turn off your head set.

3. Crying is allowed. Wait! Crying after a win is allowed. Crying after you lost the game is a waste of time so save your complaint. Always STOP THE GAME. Talk to your opponent about the situation and attempt to resolve the issue like men. If that doesn’t work call or text me. But always STOP THE GAME!.

4. Trades are approved by the commissioner ONLY. Trades will also require approval from the next 3 guys on the waiting list. Since these guys will most likely inherit your mess should you quit, they will have input on player movement.

5. Free agent signings are NOT allowed so stay off the FREE AGENT wire. Team owners will not use the Free Agent wire to conduct illegal trades after the trade deadline. Doing so will result in disciplanary action which could include removal from the league.

6. If you do not make curfew the league will roll on without you. Your opponent will be allowed to play the CPU or if your opponent is not there the CPU will SIM the contest. After the second SIM your franchise will be handed to someone on the wait list.

7. NO GLITCHES! Known or otherwise. However there is a diferrence between glitch and tough to stop. You are the best players on the planet – tough to stop is simply candy for the mind. A glitch cannot be stopped.

8. Quitting games is PROHIBITED. Conceding the game is allowed but not ideal. Run the clock out and GET THE HIGHLIGHTS.

9. No owner can occupy more than one team in the same league at any time. PERIOD!

10. League members owning teams at the end of the season are guaranteed a spot in
the Madden Masters Of The Game Competition regardless of record or playoff status.

11. New owners inherit the team with their current roster and record. New owners must have at least 2 years on their XBOX LIVE accounts.

12. Venting on our forums is allowed. Venting on the main threads at AskMadden or any other website is NOT. Fellas I lurk everywhere so if you write it, I'll find it.

13. We know there are crew members serving as team owners in The LEX Leagues. Attempting to stack your fellow crew members teams with good players is FORBIDDEN!

14. Franchise League owners must be present for the live draft - NO EXCEPTIONS! The CPU has proven it will ruin drafts and leave teams stacked with offensive linemen and defensive tackles. If you are not present your team will be passed onto someone on the waiting list.

LEAGUE PAYMENT METHOD

LEX Online Leagues are Professional Madden leagues. Each League Champion
receives a $500 payout via Western Union Money In Minutes. Note: League
winners receive their earnings at their expense. League winners are responsible
for paying whatever taxes maybe due.

GAME DAYS

TUESDAYS – THURSDAYS - SATURDAYS

The LEX game day deadlines are as follows:

DEADLINE: Tuesday’s slate of games must be played by 11:55 pm EST Wednesday.

DEADLINE: Thursday’s slate of games must be played by 11:55pm EST Friday.

DEADLINE: Saturday’s slate of games must be played by 11:55 pm EST Monday.


IF YOU CAN’T PLAY

If an unexpected situation arises where an opponent does not sign on for an agreed upon
time please post on the contact thread all the details. Include a make up time so your
opponent will know when his second opportunity to play will come.

Note: Ideally we want all games to be played by the team owners – NOT THE CPU.


IF YOU STILL CAN’T PLAY

Having said that, if a situation arises where you cannot play your game within the time allotted don’t slow down the league. Simply resign from the league just long enough for your opponent to play the CPU. After the game has been played or at your earliest opportunity – reinstate yourself as team owner and get ready for the next game on your schedule. After 3 games however we will boot you.

NOTE: If EA supplies the enhancements we suggested for Online Franchise, you will not have to resign. The Commish will handle this function. If OPEN SCHEDULES are an option we will amend the rule on game days accordingly.

If you are NOT going to be able to finish the season contact the leagues Commissioner ASAP.

Remember this fellas. The league must pay out in a timely fashion. Don’t exclude yourself from the bigger event, our year end Madden Master’s of the Game Competition, by quitting or by playing your league games at a snails pace. Win, lose or draw everyone who finishes the season will get an invite to the Competition.

The LEX Leagues are exclusively for dedicated league members. You can be a part of a crew and still own a team in the LEAGUE. However due to the grueling schedule that we adhere too, members who are dedicated to other leagues will not be able to play in the LEX Online Leagues. Members of other leagues will be able to join us in our FREE monthly Online Tournaments. Note: This rule will be grandfathered.


COMMUNICATION:

Each team owner MUST provide a cell phone number to the league commissioner. The commissioner will use this number to contact you, via text messaging, about league issues i.e. scheduling games, rules infractions, voting on new rules or to alert you to upcoming events. Your number will not be shared with other league members.

USE CAN ALSO USE THESE THREADS TO COMMUNICATE WITH OTHER TEAM OWNERS OR JUST TO TALK TRASH. YOU CAN ALSO POST A SCOUTING REPORT ON SOMEONE YOU PLAYED OR VIEW THE THREAD TO READ SOMEONE ELSE REVIEW OF AN UPCOMING OPPONENT.

NOTE: We are professional not petty so don’t use these threads to give away someone’s scheme. Never post specifics. Here’s an example of what is acceptable. Example: “I played dude and all he did was nano up the A-Gap.”. Here is what is NOT acceptable. Example: Dude runs that 3-4 playbook and nanos out of the 1-5-5 by stacking his backer in a-gap. He brings up his safety, blah, blah , blah.”. Posts like this will be deleted and you will be issued a warning via PM.

. Select the subsection with your league and find your opponents Point Of Contact thread and use it to schedule your game. Post the day and time that you will be available to get the game played. This will show the commissioner that you are trying to get the game in. When curfew hits you will be allowed to play the CPU and get the win if the other owner is M.I.A..

Make sure you check your own thread daily to see if your opponent is trying to contact you.

THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (GAMEPLAY RULES)

The settings are as All-Madden. 7 minutes per quarter. Accelerated clock=ON. (If applicable)

1. Blocking FG's, punts and kickoffs manually is prohibited. Anyone doing this will be penalized heavily. The ball goes back to the offense. if this tactic is done as the game winner with no time left on the clock the offending player will be banned from the league so be a professional and take the loss.

2. Anything that's questionable, pause the game. DO NOT QUIT THEN CALL ME. Contact the commissioner ONLY after communicating with your opponent. Be civil and adult, but work on a compromise so the game can resume.

3. If the matter cannot be resolved between the two team owners, then stop the game and call me. The goal is to play the game and win the game on the field.

4. Disconnecting to get a win is NOT allowed. If a disconnection occurs pause the game and allow your opponent 10 minutes to get back online. If he does return online within the time allotted please exit the game and recreate the game conditions in a new game. If your opponent is not online within 10 minutes contact the commissioner to get a green light before finishing the current game. Note: Failing to return within 10 minutes will be deemed as an attempt by you to LAB what you’ve seen in the 1st half. This is unacceptable.

5. No league owner may use his position in the league to stream, video or record in any manner another owners gameplay. If anyone is found to have jacked someone else style and promote it to others they will be banned from all LEX events. You’re here to COMPETE against your opponent not STEAL from him.

LEX LEAGUES AND LEX TOURNAMENTS

THE LEX PRO ONLINE LEAGUES ARE NOT MLG OR ANY OTHER TOURNAMENT.

In short that means we play by the rules of the ONLINE community. We are after all – an ONLINE LEAGUE.

We host online TOURNAMENTS which will abide strictly by tournament rules. If your game is tailored more towards that style of play than please sign up for our monthly SUDDEN DEATH events instead of the LEAGUES.

Due to the amount of money at stake in the LEAGUES we are also moving towards members who have no less than 2 years on their XBOXLIVE accounts.
Note: We will grandfather this rule.

If you were in the LEAGUE at the end of Madden 11 you can remain a team owner. However if you drop out your spot will be filled by a player who has at least 2 years on their XBOXLIVE account.
