Part 3 of 4 Play Mini-Scheme

hailmarybig

Play: Hail Mary
Formation: Trio
Playbook: Pitt

Steps:
1. Run a play that gets you to the left hash mark. Ask madden prefers HB off tackle out of trio.
2. Put your far right left receiver on a fade.
3. Put your middle slot receiver on a slant to the right.
4. Put your inside left receiver on a drag.

Mr 610’s thoughts:
Being on the left hash mark is key because your outside left receiver will go out of bounds running his fade then come back in. Against zone he is just wide open. You can’t run cover 2 on this or it gets slapped. Even if the d adjusts there defense to stop the fade it will still be 1 on 1 coverage where you can easily jet pack or rocket catch the route. The slant pulls the zone in so the fade is open, against man the slant/drag combo is open and the tight ends route is easily one of the best in the game. It gets open in any coverage so it’s going to be open unless they user cover it, which means they can’t user cover any of the other deadly routes in this play. Again, this is in trio so your opponent has so much else to worry about so there is no way he will be ready for this.

OH MY GOD. Just when I thought this play couldn’t possibly get better. I’m glad to see the outside the sidelines fade finally getting noticed, that’s been my money route on my star play. I realize what kind of defense you would need to stop this, but if you set up that defense, the draw eats you up, and so does the second pass play. Man, can’t wait for tomorrow’s Part 4. Mr 610 have you used this in tourneys yet?

  2. Hoosey says:

    Wouldnt BNR eat that up.

  3. jsthedon says:

lol this guy is sweet as hell. 2 and done in orlando.

  4. Charles says:

Hoosey, BnR with man coverage def wouldn’t. The TE’s route is gross. I figure some delayed BnR with zone coverage and a spy, with some heat. That is the only conceivable D I can think of, but that is still destroyed by the draw/ Part 2 of the tip.

  5. Mr610 says:

Just motion snap and most are unbumpable. Against all 34, 43, and 46 zone defenses watch your outside reciever. The cornerback gets sucked in and leaves him uncovered. Check it out

  6. Bryan says:

Of course its gonna work that was some terrible D lol
