Ripping Zone Defenses
Playbook: Pitt
Play: Steelers Cross
Steps:
1) Hot route left outside WR on a slant to the right
2) Hot route right outside wr on a streak
Reads:
1) Watch immediately for the unique RB route out of the backfield, this is
great against man or blitzes from that side.
2) Slant from the left outside WR over middle of the field
3) Slant from slot right WR (which gets open against most coverages because
of the unique break it takes)
4) Streaking WR on the right for an easy 20 yard rocket catch
5) Blue route
Steps 2)
1) Hot route left outside WR on a streak
2) Hot route right outside WR on a streak
3) Hot route RB on a curl
Reads 2)
1) RB on curl out the backfield for an easy dot
2) Crossing slant route
3) Rocket catch streaks
4) Blue route
Why It Works 1):
This play is great against people who like to blitz or run man maximum coverage D because of the crossing routes and blue route that pops open.
Why it Works 2):
This is another great set up to this absolutely lethal play that is a main fixture in my offense. See for yourself how effective it is!

Is this play the same as patriots cross or jets cross? I know both of those playbooks have those plays out of the shotgun 4wr.
Thanks for this, another play needed
